Buckinghamshire Council- Chiltern Villages
I am grateful to residents of the Chiltern Villages ward for giving me the opportunity to serve them.
I am married with children, have lived in High Wycombe virtually all my life, attended local schools, went to university, did my professionals in accountancy, and now work as a tax specialist.
Having previously served on Buckinghamshire County Council for 12 years I understood the functioning of the Council and its residents, and during that time served on various senior roles like – Chairman of Buckinghamshire Council, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, Chairman of Regulatory and Audit Committee.
In my current role I have had the pleasure of becoming Chairman of Buckinghamshire Council to focus on two themes:
- Celebrating the first year of the formation of Buckinghamshire Council
- Mental Health
I am currently Deputy Cabinet Member for Public Health and in that capacity involved in ensuring that the public health of the residents of Buckinghamshire is well served.
I continue to serve residents with any issues that they have as well as raising various concerns ranging from roads, pavements, AONB, youth activities, education, adult health, waste collection and speeding. I work with my colleague Cllrs Dominic Barnes and Cllr Mark Turner to try to address these.
I am a Governor at a local upper school and Chairman of Lane End Youth Club.
I look forward to serving you well.
